About the Event

The Breathe Life End to End Team Cycle Challenge is a 15 day, 1400 - mile endurance epic that starts at sunrise in Cornwall on September 22nd and ends in Scotland at sunset two weeks later.

Joining the team, whether that is for 20, 50, or 100 miles or for the entire journey means becoming part of a community of philanthropic riders and volunteers committed to breathing life into supporting research and action to prevent and treat rare lung cancers - increasing quality of life and survivorship of suffers, providing care and wellbeing support for affected families, and supporting the campaign for clean air.

The benefit to you is threefold: to improve your own health, to improve the lives of others and to improve the quality of the air we breathe via fundraising.

The Moving Mountains 101 is 101 miles of pedalling across the Cairngorms, beginning in beautiful Pitlochry and ending in Ferness, just south of Inverness. Whether you are 16, 26, 46 or 66, there are miles and miles of breathtaking views to enjoy here, it's difficult to know where to start! Join us for a gentle beginners pedal through the glens, or for the full day epic with mountain top climbs and flowing downhills, testing fitness, and endurance. Cycle, chat and eat cake - whether a lot, or just a little. Every breath we take, every mile we pedal will be to raise awareness of the rising tide of lung cancer in non smokers and to shine a spotlight on air pollution as a known but under-appreciated and growing risk factor.

There will be water stops/support vehicles at approximately 20 miles and 50 miles and at 80 miles

Registration is free. T-shirts and cycle jerseys are optional and are £25 (includes a branded t-shirt ) or £50 (includes a branded cycle jersey). Support (includes transport for luggage if you are staying over at the destination) and route information. We welcome donations, 100% of which will go to the chosen charities.

If you want an opportunity to move for something that matters –whether that’s for the environment, health, your children's future or in memory or support of a loved one …please join us. We appealing to members of cycle clubs, families and groups of friends and supporters to join in. Come and be a part of helping us raise funds to meet our target of £10,000 for the Cairngorms stretch. Don't delay, sign up today. If we could recruit 100 team members from this region, each raising £100, we would easily hit our target of £250,000 for the entire British Isles challenge.

Register your interest here and we will add you to the team. The more communities we reach , the more awareness and funds we raise.

If you cant ride, you can still help by volunteering or by simply donating to our team page:

You can also support us by encouraging others to get involved, too. Please email the link to our page to your friends and family, or share it on social media. Thank you for your generosity and support.

Feel free to mail us - Susie and Wayne Eastwood on for more details of the ride. Be a Breathe Life Champion and play your part in helping Britain to breathe more easily. Thank you so much!
